Podcasting 101

Podcasting 101 is a 10-part instructional video series to support early-stage podcasters, from PRX and the Google Podcasts creator program.

This project was promoted across all of PRX’s digital platforms, with significant emphasis on YouTube, organic social media, and email. I created the campaign strategy for this initiative, produced the campaign assets, and deployed the campaign across the channels.

YouTube

YouTube was the first place that we published the videos and focused traffic from the other platforms. My contributions included:

  • Creating the upload/execution strategy

  • Writing the video titles and descriptions

  • Uploading the videos with the appropriate tags and metadata

  • Creating thumbnails

Social Media

Organic social was an opportunity to engage our audience with several content types and formats. My contributions included:

  • Creating a strategy for reach and engagement

  • Copywriting

  • Producing graphics

  • Deploying the posts

Email

We used email as an engagement tool to deepen the relationship with our audience. My contributions included:

  • Copywriting

  • Producing graphics

  • Drip automation strategy

    • Email deployment
